# Send your first invoice

## 1. View your customers

Select **Customers** from the navigation menu to see your list of clients and their current open balances.

## 2. Open your invoice list

Select **Invoices** from the top menu to view your existing drafts, sent, and paid invoices.

## 3. Create a new invoice

Select **New invoice** to start a draft for your customer.

## 4. Add a line item

Select **Add line item** to include additional goods or services on your invoice. A new row appears where you can enter the description and amount.

## 5. Preview your invoice

Select **Preview** to view your invoice as it will appear to your customer. Check the details for accuracy before sending.

## 6. Send the invoice

Select **Send invoice** to finalize and deliver your document. Your invoice will appear in the list below with its status updated.
