# Send your first invoice

## 1. View your customers

Select **Customers** to see a list of every person or business you bill and their current open balances.

## 2. View all invoices

Select **Invoices** in the navigation bar to see a list of your current drafts, sent, and paid invoices.

## 3. Create a new invoice

Select **New invoice** to open a blank invoice form.

## 4. Add a line item

Click **Add line item** to create a new row for additional products or services. Enter the details to include them in the invoice total.

## 5. Preview your invoice

Select **Preview** to view how your invoice will appear to the customer.

## 6. Send the invoice

Choose **Send invoice**. A message confirms the invoice was sent to your customer.
