# Send your first invoice

## 1. View your customers

Select **Customers** from the top menu to see a list of everyone you bill and their current open balances.

## 2. View all invoices

Select **Invoices** in the main menu to see a list of your drafts, sent, and paid invoices.

## 3. Create new invoice

Select **New invoice** to start a draft of your bill.

## 4. Add a line item

Select **Add line item** to create a new row for your goods or services. Enter the item details and price to include them on the invoice.

## 5. Preview the invoice

Select **Preview** to view your invoice as it will appear to the customer. A confirmation message will confirm the invoice is ready.

## 6. Send the invoice

Select **Send invoice**. A message confirms the invoice was sent to your customer.
